How do I do search engine optimisation to my web site?
All our sites are already built using search engine optimisation techniques.
You can optimise each individual page on your web site by going to Pages Manager and selecting each page to work on individually. There is a Search Engine Optimisation section under the page editor.
1. Page Title
2. Description
3. Keywords
Click on the Search Engine Optimisation Help icon for these instructions within the page editor.
These three items work together with the actual content (text and links) of the web page to achieve search engine results. It is important to only use actual key words and phrases in these "meta" tags which are present in the content of this web page.
1. Page Title This should contain your most relevant key phrases for this page and your business name.
Here is an example - for Chilli Websites a page title might be "Cost Effective Self Maintained Web sites - Chilli Websites". These key phrases should be present in the content of this web page.
The Page Title will appear at the top of the browser.
2. Description This appears as the page description in search engine results. This should be approx. 20-30 words which concisely describe what this page is about and should contain as many "key phrases " as possible (again these key phrases should be present on this web page). Typically you would use the Site Title with perhaps a few additional phrases
Here is an example - for Chilli Websites our Description might be "Cost Effective Self Maintained Web sites, Sydney Web Development, Designers, Hosting - Chilli Websites".
3. Keywords Keywords are over-rated in SEO. However, it is still worthwhile to include a short list of them which are relevant (and present) to this page. Our reccomendation is to use your Description again here as this re-inforces your key phrases to the search engines and avoids spamming the search engines (which can have a negative effect on results). Separate each key phrase with commas.
Here is an example - for Chilli Websites our Keywords might be: "Cost Effective, Self Maintained, Web sites, Sydney Web Development, Designers, Hosting, Chilli Websites".

You are under no obligation to pay this invoice - if you choose to continue with the website simply pay the invoice and we will organise for your site to be live at your web address. If you choose not to continue beyond the free trial simply disregard the invoice and your website will automatically shut down after the ten day period.
